Quick answers before you ride, book, or contribute.
A compact guide to the most common questions about trails, ride support, events, experts, organizations, safety, and privacy.
Trails and ride support
What trail information can I find?
Trail pages can include map route, sport type, distance, elevation, estimated time, difficulty, route guide, services, trail updates, campaigns, and associated experts when available.
Can I request a custom trail ride?
Yes. Use the trail request option on a trail page and share your preferred date, timing, nearest point, and support details.
How are hazards or safety updates handled?
Admins and authorized organization users can publish trail updates. Active alerts are surfaced on relevant trail pages so riders can make better decisions.
Events and bookings
How do I join an event?
Open the event page, review the details, and use the join action. For paid events, complete the payment step if it is required by the organizer.
When is a paid booking confirmed?
A paid booking is confirmed after payment proof or payment status is verified through the event workflow.
Why can’t I join some events?
Events may be full, already past their date, or unavailable for booking. You can still read event and route details when public.
Experts and organizations
How do experts get verified?
Experts submit profile and application details. Admin reviews the information and may request more context before approval.
Do I need an organization to become an expert?
No. You can start with an individual expert profile. Creating an organization is optional after your expert account is verified.
When can I create an organization?
After admin verification, an expert may create and own one organization, then invite other verified experts to help manage it.
What can organizations manage?
Organizations provide a shared workspace for members, linked trails, ride programs, local services, campaigns, updates, and trail work.
Can I charge for events or services?
Verified experts can set a fee for hosted events, and organizations can publish priced programs and services. Results depend on rider interest and bookings.
Can shops and partners be listed?
Yes. Cycle hubs and partners can be listed after review, so the platform stays useful without turning into an unmanaged directory.
Privacy, safety, and accounts
Do you sell personal data?
No. LocoXperts does not sell personal data.
Where can I read the policies?
How can I request account deletion?
Use the account deletion flow on the Privacy Policy page. Requests are reviewed manually for safety and compliance.
